'Performance in a time of terror' wins a TaPRA award

No Text Jenny Hughes (The University of Manchester) has been announced a joint winner of The Theatre & Performance Research Association (TaPRA) New Career Research in Theatre/Performance Prize. Her book, Performance in a time of Terror: Critical Mimesis and the age of uncertainty (Manchester University Press, 2011) has jointly won the award along with Ali Jeffers (also University of Manchester).


The prize consists of a cheque for £200 each and a free conference place at the TaPRA conference, held every September.
