Notes for contributors
Guidelines on preparing and submitting for Ethnicity and Race in Changing World (ERCW)
We welcome article submissions from junior and senior academics from all disciplines throughout the year. Articles may examine any aspect of race and ethnicity and all subject matters will be considered. We recommend you contact the journal before submission. Before you submit please read our guidance below. Articles which do not follow our format and content guidance may be sent back to the author for correction before they are accepted.
Submission of manuscripts
• Articles should be between 6000 and 8000 words in length, including notes and the author is responsible for the word count.
• All Articles require an abstract of between 100 and 150 words.
• Articles should be submitted via email.
Formatting
Articles should be submitted as:
o Word documents
o In Arial Font, Size 14 for main title and subheadings and Arial font size 12 for body text of article
o Do not put in text in bold
o On an A4 page format
o With double lined spacing and generous margins
o With end notes and NOT footnotes
o With one indentation for new paragraphs
o Each page should be numbered with the last page labeled LAST
o References to other titles and this journal should be written in italics
o Author’s institutional address and e-mail address at the end of article
As an author you should retain a copy of the article for back-up purposes.
